Massachusetts Air National Guard 102nd Fighter Wing / 101st Fighter Squadron KeokiDAHL.com With the BRAC 2005 decisions, a second ANG F-15 unit ceased flying operations in January 2008. The Massachusetts 101st Fighter Squadron, 102nd Fighter Wing "Eagle Keepers," are now in the process of becoming an Intel Unit. Their F-15A/B fleet is now being transferred to the nearby 104th Fighter Wing, 131st Fighter Squadron located at Barnes ANGB, also in Massachusetts. The 104th Fighter Wing will be taking over the air defense mission originally flown by the 101st Fighter Squadron. The new F-15 unit previously flew the A-10A Thunderbolt II or "Warthog."
