At this point, it has not received its famous "HH" tail code. The jet is seen on approach at Kingsley Field, Oregon. Yes, Florida's ANG has Eagles too! This jet is F-15A (75-0067) . F-15A (76-0120) is seen here during its earlier years while serving with the 48th FIS at Langley AFB, Virginia.This jet would then go on to serve the 199th FS for over 15 years, before it was finally withdraw in 2008. Twilight mission for a pair of HANG F-15A's. Both jets are now retired. An F-15 Eagle enjoys the sunset. Sources point out that this was an emergency landing for a an F-15C (78-0528) of the 199th FS. The same jet has it catches the wire "Navy style" at Hickam AFB. Details on this incident would greatly be appreciated if anyone has them. A nice line-up of Hawaii Air Guard Eagles. They are, F-15C 78-0522, F- 15A 77-0083, F-15A 77-0077, and F- 15A 77-0079. The last three have all now been withdrawn from service.
